Open Book Publishers uses print-on-demand technology, so your book(s) will be printed rapidly once we have received your order. You can place your order online and it will then be shipped directly from the printer to the delivery address you have provided. We have printers in the UK, the US and Australia, but can ship to any country in the world. We offer discounts for bulk orders over £50 so contact us if you'd like to receive further details or place an order directly with us.

Our shipping costs vary according to your destination and the weight of the book(s) you order. The exact price will be calculated when you add your item(s) to your shopping cart.
For standard postage and printing, shipping times are as follows:
UK: 8-12 working days, 4-6 with standard delivery or 2-4 with express delivery US: 9-15 working days, 5-10 with standard delivery* (Please see information below) Rest of the world: 10-15 working days
- Orders cannot be cancelled after 24hrs of being placed.
- Import duties, taxes, and fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order. You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs. You can refuse to pay the charges, but this means that the goods will not be delivered to you and OBP cannot refund the final amount.
It is important to us that customers know they can purchase from us with complete confidence. We recognise that occasionally you will wish to return items to us and we are happy to provide a 14-day returns guarantee on items purchased from our store (this applies to all our titles and editions, with the exception of digital items which are downloaded).
If you are not satisfied with your order and wish to return the book, please email us in the first instance with details of your order number and the reasons you wish to return the item. We will reply with instructions on how best to proceed with the return. If the fault is ours (for example, if a printing error occurs or the wrong title has been dispatched), we will either replace the item or provide a full refund (including your postage fee). If the fault is not ours, and the item is returned in the original new condition, we will refund the purchase price of the item, but you will remain responsible for all postage charges. We reserve the right not to make refunds on items returned in less than pristine condition where the fault is not ours. Wherever possible we ask that you use the original packaging to return items.
