5. Ten Days of Twitter

Warnes’ chapter describes the process of running an online course for staff working at his university. After a brief description of the course content and how ‘digital badges’ were introduced, Mark assesses the impact of the course using the Twitter analytics tool and a course satisfaction survey. As the course was created with a Creative Commons licence it is freely available and has now been run by several other universities.
