Alessandro Mengozzi (PhD, University of Leiden) is Professor of Semitics in the Department of Humanities at the University of Turin, where he teaches Semitic linguistics and Syriac language and literature. His main research interests include late Classical Syriac poetry and Modern Aramaic languages and literatures.
