Christian Locatell (PhD, Stellenbosch University, 2017) is Golda Meir Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Linguistics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of Grammatical Polysemy in the Hebrew Bible (Brill, forthcoming), an updated revision of his doctoral dissertation, and co-editor of Ancient Texts and Modern Readers (Brill, 2019). His research focus is the linguistic analysis of biblical and ancient Northwest Semitic languages, with additional work on biblical interpretation and archaeology.
