Our advocacy

Visit our blog and sign up to our newsletter for all the latest developments at OBP!

We are part of the COPIM (Community-led Open Publication Infrastructures for Monographs) project, which is building community-controlled, open systems and infrastructures that will develop and strengthen open access book publishing, funded by grants from the Research England Development (RED) fund and Arcadia Fund. Read more about our role in this exciting project and read updates from the project, including blog posts and presentations from our team and other members of the project.

We also help to co-ordinate the Open Access Books Network (OABN) which runs a lot of events related to OA books and enables a community of people to share knowledge, best practices, support and advice on all issues related to OA books.

Open Book Publishers sits on the advisory board of a range of Open Access initiatives and members of our team are frequently invited speakers to discuss OA. Watch co-Founder and co-Director Rupert Gatti talk about our project in the videos below, and scroll down to discover more articles and presentations by our team, as well as our Press Kit and Open Access Kit.
